Corbenic Camphill Community

The Corbenic Community has expanded considerably in recent years and are proposing to construct a new community hall, gallery, bakery, kitchens and workshop buildings. Corbett & Tasker are working together with Woodside Parker Kirk Architects to design spaces that will provide a gathering space and community heart with structure, and that will work harmoniously with the existing landscape which is a gently sloping clearing in a forest. Sustainability is at the heart of the design, with structural timber used where possible and structures raised up above the existing ground level to minimise cut and fill.
