Giroscope, Hull

Giroscope are a charitable Housing Association assisting homeless people build their own homes. Corbett and Tasker have been working alongside the Architect Duncan Roberts in the design of 6 homes to be erected using the Walter Segal ‘barn raising’ technique whereby the primary timber frames are jointed whilst laying flat on the ground and then lifted by hand and propped in place.
