Waterloo Gardens, London
Working closely with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, this is a residential and community use scheme proposed on a brownfield site adjacent the Regent’s Canal in East London.
The residential component is 100% social housing and the community facilities include a nursery and community hall. Landscaped public space is to be provided with sports facilities.
The primary structure comprises RC columns and flat slabs with steel framing and precast concrete slabs to the Community Centre roof.
